OUR MISSION

Track 2000 is a registered charity that was established to benefit Cardiff and South East Wales. It has three main aims and objectives that are carried out constantly throughout the year.

  • Reuse/Recycle unwanted household and commercial goods.
  • Provide support and training to individuals on low income or benefit.
  • To assist with environmental management by reducing the amount of waste that goes to landfill sites.

OUR OPERATIONS

We achieve this through the constant work, dedication and commitment of our staff, volunteers and trainees.

Track 2000 has two main operating sites, one in Cardiff and one in Barry. All goods that are donated to the charity are displayed and sold within these premises. Due to the nature of the donation system we always have a varied choice of items available, however, the type of goods that we stock range from:

Beds, Settees, Wardrobes, Mirrors, Dining Table and Chairs, Piano's, TV Units, Coffee Tables, Mattresses, Washing Machines, Cookers, Tumble Dryers, Fridge Freezers etc....

(we cannot guarantee that these items will be in stock at all times.)

Delivery of your items can be arranged and we also have domestic engineers who are able to install appliances at your home.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

In order for us to operate we rely heavily on the kind and generous donations made by members of the public. We constantly require items of household furniture and white goods to ensure that all members of the community have access to decent affordable goods. We collect from all areas of Cardiff as well as some parts of the Vale of Glamorgan. Regrettably, we are unable to accept donations of furniture personally over the door at any of our sites.

We do not receive any outside funding and as such it is necessary for us to request a donation fee for collection of items.
